: All research was carried out in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations in the Declaration of Helsinki. Ethics approval was received from the University of British Columbia Behavioural Research Ethics Board (ID: H21-01510). Informed consent was received from youth prior to survey completion, and youth do not have to complete the survey in order to receive services (i.e., completion of the surveys is voluntary). Verbal consent was attained prior to completion of focus groups for the purposes of program evaluation. In accordance with the BC Infants Act of 1996 [CitationRef removed] it is deemed unnecessary to require parental/legal guardian consent for all minors (under the age of 19) to access health services. The capacity of a minor to provide informed consent is determined by assessing the ability of the minor’s physical, mental, and emotional development to determine an understanding and full appreciation of the nature and consequences of the proposed services, including the refusal of such services.
