Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The study protocol was approved by the Research Ethics Boards of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (165/2012) and of Health Canada / Public Health Agency of Canada (REB 2012–0052). Written consent forms were given to all students in grades 2, 3, and 4 to take home to their parents/guardians,. All students whose parents/guardians gave consent were also assented.
