Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The Ethics Committee of the Italian National Institute of Health (Istituto Superiore di Sanità) has issued a favorable ethical opinion on the surveillance PASSI. The protocol number of the final opinion is CE-ISS 06/158 - 8th of March 2007.In PASSI, verbal informed consent was obtained was obtained from all participants included in the study at the beginning of the telephone interview. This is an essential condition for the interview to be continued. The ethics committee approved the procedure. In HIS, a written content was obtained.
