: This study was endorsed by the KAHPF Research Subcommittee and the Pilbara Aboriginal Health Planning Forum. The study has approval from the Western Australian Aboriginal Health Ethics Committee (Project 781), the WACHS Human Research Ethics Committee (RGS 206) and the Far North Queensland Human Research Ethics Committee (Project 46663–1306). Women from sample frame A will provide written informed consent prior to participating in the study. Health professionals from sample frame B will be implementing the KMMS as part of routine clinical care. By volunteering information on the process of implementation of the KMMS, sample frame B will be implying consent to take part in this evaluation, as per National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Research (NS 2.2.5) [CitationRef removed].The study was registered retrospectively (one participant consented to the Kimberley implementation arm prior to registration) with the Australian and New Zealand Clinical Trial Registry (ACTRN12619000580178).
