Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The present study is a non-invasive, retrospective cohort study and data were collected as part of routine diagnosis and treatment which was not set up as a study or research project. There was no necessity to obtain a vote from a research ethics committee [CitationRef removed,CitationRef removed]. This procedure is in accordance with section 15 paragraph 1 of the Model Professional Code for Physicians in Germany [CitationRef removed]. The declaration of Helsinki and the rules for data protection and data security and good epidemiological practice were fully applied [CitationRef removed]. We obtained approval for the scientific use of clinical routine data from the commissary for data privacy protection from the Gemeinschaftskrankenhaus Herdecke and the Filderklinik Filderstadt. Data was anonymized at the point of data acquisition for retrospective analysis.
