Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The present study was conducted based on secondary data source using a longitudinal data set from the Household, Income and Labour Dynamics in Australia (HILDA) survey over an extended period of 2003 to 2017. Ethical approval was not required from an institutional review board because the patient information was de-identified. Appropriate approval was obtained for this study from the Department of Social Services to access the publicly available, de-identified longitudinal dataset. The findings and views reported in this paper, however, are those of the author and should not be attributed to either the DSS or the Melbourne Institute.
