Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The study was conducted in accordance with the European Code of conduct for Research Integrity ExternalRef removed. and follows local guidelines based on the Helsinki declaration, implying, among other things, that informed consent from parents/guardians and assent from children were secured prior to the study. The study is legally registered locally; no formal ethical approval is required for surveys using questionnaires and interviews that do not involve human biological material according to the Danish National Committee on Health Research Ethics (section 14 [CitationRef removed] of the Committee Act). The study was discussed with the Lithuanian Biomedicine Research Committee of Kaunas region who stated that no special approval from Biomedicine Ethics Committee was necessary for anonymous surveys. Written parental consent and informed consent from participants were obtained before conducting the research.
