Ethics approval and consent to participate
: As this research involved human participants, the study was reviewed by the UWE Faculty Research Ethics Committee and approval given to conduct the research (UWE REC REF No: HAS.19.07.225). Ahead of the scheduled interviews, participants were provided with a written information sheet providing details of the study and were asked to sign and return a written consent form. In order to facilitate maximum learning from the case studies, it was agreed that the case studies themselves would be named but that individual participants would be anonymised. The ethical implications of naming the case studies was considered, but it was agreed that ethical risks were minimal due to the study seeking examples of good practice and not seeking sensitive information about situations or individuals.
