Ethics approval and consent to participate
: School health service managers and principals were e-mailed information letters describing the study. If the managers and or principals, within 3 weeks from receiving the e-mail, contacted the research group stating that school nurses were not to participate in the study, these school nurses were excluded from the study. The remaining school nurses were sent an e-mail containing a link to the questionnaire and an information letter describing the study and the procedure for providing written consent. By completing the questionnaire, the school nurses consented to participate in the study. Confidentiality for the participants was ensured through the software used for distribution of the web-based questionnaire (EsMaker). The study and procedure for obtaining consent was approved by the Regional Ethical Committee in Uppsala, Sweden (DNR: 2016/560).
