Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The study was approved by UNICEF Burkina Faso and Save the Children Burkina office and the ethical committee of the Ministry of Economic Development and Planning. We obtained written informed content from the community head and members of his council, who informed his community of the study. Given the high illiteracy rate in the community, consent from parents of the children was taken verbally and signed by a literate member of the household if they were unable to sign.
