: The study received ethical approval from the Ghana Health Service Ethics and Review Committee (GHS-ERC 065/11/19). Further approvals were sought from the Director General of the Ghana Health Service for data collection. All participants were given the adequate information on the study objectives, methods, benefits of participation, and voluntariness to participate or withdraw from the study at any particular time without repercussions. Participants in the study were adults. Informed consent forms were given to all participants to be filled and signed prior to the start of the interviews. The study did not expose the participants to any known risks. Participants’ data were kept anonymous in reporting the study findings. Information from the study was reported using the Standards for Reporting Qualitative Research Guidelines (SQRQ).
