: This study was reviewed and approved by George Washington University’s Institutional Review Board (#071720) and the National Research Ethics Committee of the National Institute for Medical Research in Tanzania. Research coordinators were trained in study objectives, research ethics, and study procedures.Written informed consent was obtained from adolescents age 18 or older, and from caregivers of participating adolescents under 18, with assent from adolescents too young to provide consent. Interviews took place in private rooms, and interview transcripts were de-identified prior to analysis.
