: The University of Southern California’s Institutional Review Board approved study protocols, informed consent processes (including written and verbal consent procedures), and materials. Participation was voluntary. Coalition members provided verbal consent to complete the Wilder Collaboration Factors Inventory (WCFI) and the Leader Learning Self-Assessment (LLSA) survey during coalition meetings since these were anonymously completed and the only record linking the individual and study would have been a signed consent document. If someone opted out after providing verbal consent, they could return an empty document to the data collector without anyone else’s knowledge (this did not occur). Individuals who were interviewed gave their written consent to participate and verbally agreed to be audio recorded.
