All methods were performed in accordance with the relevant guidelines and regulations of the University of South Australia. The study was a social media content analysis (methodology akin to a news media content analysis) so it wasn’t appropriate to seek informed consent. We audited publicly available content that the instagrammers had intentionally shared to as wide a public audience as possible.
