: The I-SHARE survey underwent local ethical review and Institutional Review Board approval in each country. All participants were required to provide informed consent before starting the survey. The University of Committee on Medical Ethnics (BC-07988) granted ethical approval for secondary data use to make cross-country comparisons in this dataset. Ethical approval for this secondary data analysis was granted by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Office of Human Research Ethnics (IGHID 12033) and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine Ethics Committee. All research activities and methods were carried out in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations. All participants provided informed consent to participate before starting the survey.
