Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The study was ethically approved from research and ethics review committee of school of pharmacy, University of Gondar College of medicine and health science with reference number SoP047/18.Permission was obtained from hospital clinical director and head of the medical ward of University of Gondar teaching hospital. Each patient was asked for their willingness both verbally and in written form to participate in this study. The data collection was initiated by informing the relevance of the study and after getting patients’ consent. Counseling intervention was given for patients who failed to demonstrate the appropriate inhaler use in collaboration with other health care providers.
