Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The present study was a quality improvement study grounded at Lillebaelt Hospital. The study was approved by the chief physicians at the Department of Radiology, Lillebaelt Hospital and Spine Centre of Southern Denmark, respectively.The Region of Southern Denmark is the data controller for this project, and it is included in their records of personal data processing activities (Journal nr. 18/31340). The data processing was conducted according to EU and Danish legislation on processing of sensitive personal information, as well as internal regulations from the Region of Southern Denmark. Analyses were run on pseudonymised data, and the results presented in this manuscript do not enable identification of single data subjects.No approval from the Human Research Ethics Committee was needed because the study did not involve direct patient contact/intervention, and no political or religious information was collected. However, a request regarding the need for approval was sent to the local Human Research Ethics Committee before initiating the study (case number 20182000–101).
