Patients are provided with information about the registry and possibility to withdraw from participation at any time. This study was approved by the Regional Ethical Board in Stockholm, Sweden (2011/337–31/3), and the Swedish Ethical Review Authority (2022–00913-01) as well as performed in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki. The Swedish National Knee Ligament Registry complies with the Swedish legislation related to data security and therefore, no written consent is necessary for national databases in Sweden.
