Declarations
:
: Prior to the commencement of the study, ethical approval was obtained from the Research Ethics Committee at the Faculty of Dentistry, Alexandria University, Egypt (IRB 00010556–IORG 0008839) after ensuring that all methods are in accordance with the Helsinki declaration. Owing to the high illiteracy levels of the children guardians, and as there is minimal risk involved in the study with using the extracted teeth, an informed verbal consent in front of a witness was obtained from parents of children at the time of extractions declaring that these teeth will be used for research purposes instead of being discarded as waste. This is performed in compliance with the educational institution’s regulations and the principles approved by the Research Ethics Committee.
