: This randomized controlled clinical study was held in the Faculty of Dentistry, Cairo University, Egypt. The protocol of the study was revised and approved on the 7<sup>th</sup> of August 2019 by the committee of the research plan and evidence-based in the Conservative Dentistry Department, Faculty of Dentistry, Cairo University, Egypt. The number of the involved participants in this study was calculated, revised, and approved by Medical Biostatistics Unit, Faculty of Dentistry, Cairo University. The clinical procedures and logistics of this clinical trial were approved by the Research Ethics Committee of the Faculty of Dentistry, Cairo University with approval number 3592019 in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki and its later modifications. Then, the protocol of the clinical trial was registered in the (ExternalRef removed) database in 23/07/2020; with the unique identification number NCT04482790. An informed consent with an easy Arabic language as mother language of participants was signed by the recruited participants.
