: This research paper was performed after receiving approval by the Research Ethics Committee of Guilan University of Medical Sciences under IR.GUMS.REC.1400.472 code on December 29, 2021. This study did not involve human participants. The present study was performed on the cavity liner specimens in the laboratory condition. The specimens were immersed in the flasks containing 10 mL of distilled water for Calcium and hydroxyl ions. To investigate the toxicity of the cavity liners and their effect on cell growth and proliferation, the extraction process was performed according to ISO 10993-12 (Tests for In vitro Cytotoxicity). The cells used in this study were NIH/3T3 mouse fibroblasts cultured in DMEM.
