: TS graduated from Kanazawa University School of Medicine in Japan in 1992 with an M.D. He then worked for Kanazawa University and was awarded his Ph. D. in 2003. From 2004 to 2009, he worked for Kato Ladies Clinic in Tokyo as a certified specialist in reproductive medicine and then moved to Shimbashi YUME Clinic, where he is currently serving as the Director. He has also been certified as a specialist physician by the Japan Society of Human Genetics.
: This retrospective cohort study was approved by the independent Institutional Review Board of Shimbashi YUME Clinic (TOWAKO2017-7, approved on November 30, 2017). Written informed consent was obtained from all the patients before the collection and use of serum samples.
