: We complied with ethical considerations in accordance with the Japanese “ethical guidelines on medical research targeting people” by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. This study was approved by St. Luke’s International University Research Ethics Review Committee (No. 17-A068).Researchers, research assistants, midwives, and nurses of research facilities explained the purpose of the research to study prospects using written explanatory documents at the time of pregnancy check-ups at the study’s selected institutions. Before answering the questions, women selected consent checkbox if they agreed to participate in this study. The questionnaire was anonymous, so recovery of the completed questionnaire or internet online survey with selected consent checkbox was regarded as consent for cooperation with this research.
