: Statement for guidelines: Experimental research and field studies on plants (<i>Galium Aparine L.</i>) including the collection of plant material complied with relevant institutional, national, and international guidelines and legislation. Permission for collecting <i>Galium Aparine L.</i> was obtained from the Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences on 18 February 2018, regarding the International code of conduct for plant germplasm collecting and transfer. Mohammad Kamalinejad, an expert botanist on Iranian plants undertook the formal identification of the plant before the study. The voucher specimen for <i>Galium Aparine L.</i> has been deposited in the herbarium of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical; the voucher ID number for the voucher specimen is SBMU-8246.
