Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The study was in compliance with the Declaration of Helsinki for research involving human subjects. Formal written informed consent was not required since the study was a “research without risk” project, according to Article 17 of the Mexican Federal Law of Health Research (ExternalRef removed), and Article 11.3 of the Mexican National Norm on Biomedical Research in Human Beings, published in 2013 by the Mexican Federal Government (ExternalRef removed). Participants were informed of the purpose of the study, and verbal informed consent was obtained. Verbal consent was preferred due to the nature of the study, and the limited time window available during participation.Review and approval of the project were provided by the Medical Education Department of the medical school as a non-invasive minimal risk study. Data were managed and analyzed anonymously.
