Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Permission to analyze participants’ responses was obtained at the beginning of training by an oral informed consent. The National Institute of Public Health Ethics Committee waived written informed consent forms as the research presented no more than minimal risk of harm to subjects and involved no procedures for which written consent is normally required outside of the research context. Evaluation forms were identified using unique identification numbers to preserve participants’ anonymity and were kept locked in the office of the researcher in charge of implementing the program. This manuscript was part of the PRONTO Impact Evaluation Project, which was approved by the Ethics Committee and the Research Committee of the National Institute of Public Health (Reference 845).
