Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Participation in the pilot study was voluntary and could have been stopped any time and without stating any reason. All potential participants were informed in written and verbal form and signed informed consent. Data were collected anonymously. No personal data were collected. Approval for this pilot study was obtained from the Ethics Committee at the University of Freiburg (Registration number: 479/18) and the staff councils of the two university medical centers.The PTBS affected person that was interviewed and videotaped signed an informed consent regarding participation in the interview and utilization of the video in the CIPE courses. To maintain anonymity, the face of the interviewed person was not shown in the final version of the video. The interview was conducted by an experienced psychotherapist to ensure that the affected person was not burdened by the interview and to be able to intervene immediately in case of distress. This video was specifically produced for and may only be used for educational purposes in the CIPE courses.
