Ethics approval and consent to participate
: St. Louis University IRB number: 29284 4/23/2018, with last approval 11/2019. IRB approval was obtained in order to perform retrospective data analysis to draw generalizable conclusions previously collected as part of a QI Project. The original data set, therefore was collected as part of a QI project and was IRB exempt. Participants for the original QI project were asked if they wanted to participate in an optional QI project, but no formal consent was required. The data set was a deidentified RedCap data base and original surveys were also destroyed. As such, consent was not obtained at the time of data collection. The data that was collected for the QI project was anonymous and deidentified. The QI project was approved with an HHS determination form.
