: This study was conducted in compliance with the Research Ethics Guidelines of the Japan Society for Medical Education. The mini-CEX data and questionnaire responses were anonymised so that individual data could not be identified. The purpose of the study and ethical considerations were explained clearly to all participants. The purpose and design of this study had already been opened to the public by the Database of Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research (KAKEN). It was confirmed that all participants provided informed verbal consent and we obtained comprehensive approval according to the guidelines for handling personal information such as academic records on the website of Tokyo Women’s Medical University. An educational exemption was obtained from the Tokyo Women’s Medical University Ethics Review Board.
