In line with the University of Ilorin’s ethical policy, it was granted ethical permission by the Department of Nursing Science at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. In line with the university’s guidelines, the research proposal was reviewed by a team of expert nursing researchers, and it was deemed ethical and did not warrant a full review by the ethical board.
