: Ethics approval was obtained from Mbarara University of Science and Technology Research Ethics Committee (number MUST-2022-653). All participants provided informed written consent prior to their participation. A person whose role would not bias the participants’ responses facilitated the FGDs. Participants’ responses during the FGDs were anonymized using codes. The FGDs were audio-recorded but transcribed data were de-identified. Recordings were kept for approximately 3 months to allow for complete transcription, checking and analysis, after which the recordings would be deleted. Soft-copy data were securely kept on a password-protected computer, while all hard copies of documents accruing from this study were securely kept in a locked cupboard accessible only to the investigator.
