: This manuscript, derived from a PhD dissertation in nursing (project code. 99000046), was approved by the Ethics Committee of Kerman University of Medical Sciences (Ethics code of IR.KMU.REC.1399.135). At the request of the ethics committee, the present study was conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki and Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All participants provided written informed consent in all stages of the research. Participants were voluntarily enrolled, and they could withdraw from the study at any time. No names were written down or mentioned during the interviews. The interview recordings were deleted after transcription. The interviewees’ and the respondents’ confidentiality was maintained throughout the research process from data collection to publication. After completing the intervention and collecting the data, the control group students received the cultural care training program using the same method.
