Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Ethical approval was waived by the Ministry of Health in Lebanon and the Ministry of Health in Jordan. This was considered a quality improvement study with a focus at the system level and information collected did not include personal data. Also, data from documentation review was collated with data from surveys and interviews and analyzed in aggregate form.The study adhered to standard ethical guidelines and protocols. Participation in this study was on a voluntary basis. Verbal consent was obtained from participants prior to commencing with the study. Participants were reminded of their right to refrain from participating or withdraw from the study at any time without reprisal. The confidentiality and anonymity of responses were ensured at all times. No names or identifiers were linked to any of the findings emerging from the study.
