Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The study is approved by the South Western Sydney Local Health District Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC/10/LPOOL/98, HREC/15/LPOOL/361), the Aboriginal Health and Medical Research Council of NSW (739/10), UNSW Australia (HC10429) and Western Sydney University (RH12261).The project officer telephoned each eligible mother to ask for verbal consent to visit them at home to explain the study in detail and written consent to participate in the study was obtained. In accordance with the guidelines of the AustralianNational Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research[CitationRef removed], ethics permission was granted to recruit participants over the age of 14 years with their own consent.
