Ethics approval and consent to participate
: A written approval for the research project has been received from the Regional Ethical Review Board in Stockholm, Sweden (Reference number 2012/1245–31/5. Protocol 2012/5:7).The questionnaire had a code making it possible to send a reminder. Participants were given written information about the background and purpose of the study and information on how to contact the principal investigator (RJ). The participants could not be assured confidentiality because there is only one administrator in most counties dealing with HAs. Similarly, there are counties with only one health center providing HAs to asylum seekers. Information was given that participation was voluntary, followed by a written consent to participate.
