: The study’s project was presented to the Bioethical Committee of the Poznan University of Medical Sciences, which confirmed that its approval was not required according to the Polish law and guidelines provided on the Committee’s website. All respondents gave informed consent to participate in the study, the consent was recorded at the beginning of each interview. Our study does not meet the definition of a “medical experiment” described in Art. 21-29a of the Act of December 5, 1996, on the professions of physician and dentist [CitationRef removed] as well as the Ordinance of the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare of May 11, 1999 [CitationRef removed], on detailed rules of appointing and financing as well as the operation mode of bioethics committees. It was also not a clinical study referred to in Art. 37b, 37 l, and 37r of the Act of September 6, 2001 - Pharmaceutical Law [CitationRef removed]. Therefore, an opinion of the Bioethics Committee was not required to conduct this study. This information was confirmed with the representatives of the Bioethics Committee before starting the study.
