: This study has been approved by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) of the University of Gondar (Ref. No: V/P/RCS/05/1580/2020). An information sheet was prepared and explained to the study participants, which included the purpose and importance of the study, the confidentiality of the participants’ responses, the study benefits and risks. Verbal informed consent was obtained from each study participant, since majority of the study participants were unable to read and write. The verbal informed consent procedure was approved by the ethics committee of the University of Gondar. Participant involvement in the study was based on a voluntary basis. The opportunity to ask any question about the study, as well as the right to refuse, was provided. To ensure participant confidentiality, identification numbers rather than names were used, and data access was restricted. Finally, all methods were carried out in accordance with the Helsinki declaration.
