: This study was approved by the Research Ethics Committee of the University of Gondar Institute of Public Health (Ref.number IPH/1467). Communications with different official administrators of the study hospitals were made through formal letters obtained from the University of Gondar. The purpose and importance of the study was explained to each study participant and written and signed informed consents were received from each study participant prior to the data collection (interview). They were fully informed about the purpose of the study, their participation in the study was voluntary, and about their right to withdraw from the study at any time, they want. Similarly, written consents were taken from each study participant for the qualitative study. During data collection and transcription, personal data was anonymized and no distinguishable information is provided in the presentation of the results. All methods were performed in accordance with the relevant guidelines and regulations.
