: The study was approved by the Tanzania Medical Research Coordinating Committee of the National Institute for Medical Research (ref: NIMR/HQ/R.8a/Vol. IX/2793). Participants were enrolled following informed verbal consent. However, since the patients were among those recruited to participate in the integrated service delivery model, a written informed consent was sought prior. Privacy, confidentiality, anonymity, and voluntary participation were also adhered to throughout the study. We confirm that all the methods used in this study were in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations.
