: The study was conducted by KIT Royal Tropical Institute, the operational research partner of the Health Pooled Fund consortium. GWL was employed by KIT Royal Tropical Institute as the operational research lead for Health Pooled Fund South Sudan and was based in Juba. EJ was the project lead from KIT Royal Tropical Institute and MASS, HLSC and MS were part of the team at KIT who worked on the project. Health Pooled Fund South Sudan was not involved in the study design, data collection, data analysis and concluding phase, nor in interpreting the findings of this study.
