: To obtain ethical authorization to perform data collection, an introductory letter was obtained from Yonsei University in South Korea and submitted to the ethical committee of the Kano State Ministry of Health and the State Primary Health Care Board for consideration. Ethical approval was granted by the health research ethics committee of the Ministry of Health of Kano state (NHREC/17/03/2018). All methods were carried out following relevant guidelines and regulations of the ethics committee and in line ethical declarations of Helsinki for the conduct of human subject research. Participants were fully informed about the study’s purpose, and those who gave informed consent were given the questionnaire to complete. The questionnaires were not tagged, and there was no identification by name, the confidentiality of the information was preserved throughout the data-gathering procedure.
