: Though ethical permission was not sought directly from the patients who participated in the study, all the data collection exercises were approved by the Navrongo Health Research Centre Review Board (NHRCRB) chaired by the regional Director of Health services for the Upper East Region (UER) of Ghana. Informed consent was obtained from all subjects/respondents and/or their legal guardian(s) in the case of minors. During the data collection process, respondents rights to privacy, freedom to participation were well respected. Participants were free to discontinue with participation anytime during the process of data collection. All methods were carried out in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations.
