Local approval agreements for data collection within the urban population health initiative has been obtained as follows: In Dakar, from the National Ethical Committee for Health Research, under the Ministry of Health and Social Action of Senegal (SEN 18/79 and SEN19/14); in São Paulo, from the municipal ethical research committee (CEP-SMS; 3·818·858); in Ulaanbaatar, data collection from family health centres was approved by the Capital City department of health (Letter No. 1/158 dated February 21st, 2018).
