Data was managed according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) guidelines. According to Danish Law (Section 14, part 2), survey-based studies do not require ethical approval by the Danish National Committee on Health Research Ethics because 'Notification of questionnaire surveys and medical database research projects to the research ethics committee system is only required if the project involves human biological material' (https://en.nvk.dk/rules-and-guidelines/act-on-research-ethics-review-of-health-research-projects).
