Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Bioethical approval was obtained in the countries that it was obligatory to do so when the PLA approach was utilised. In Greece ethical approval was received by 2nd Health Region of Piraeus and Aegean. Approval was given from the Director of 2nd health region. In Slovenia ethical approval was received by National Ethic Committee and in Croatia by University of Zagreb, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of Psychology. In Austria ethical approval was received by Ethics Committee of the Medical University of Vienna. As about Netherlands, the Research Ethics Committee of the Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre confirmed that ethic approval was not necessary (file number 2016-2306). All participants received a letter explaining the purpose and content of the research. Every participant filled in an informed consent form (which was available and provided in English, Arabic and Farsi). The sessions were audiotaped and transcribed (after requested and granted permission with a signed consent form).PHC professionals agreed to participate in the training procedure as well as in its proposed evaluation procedure evaluation.Every participant filled in and signed an informed consent form (which was available in English, Arabic and Farsi).
