: Ethical approval is not required to use animal specimens received for diagnostic purpose. In detail, all the samples that contributed to this study were collected for the routine MG monitoring of the avian groups of the farm. Samples were received at the Avian Medicine Laboratory of the Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale delle Venezie (Legnaro – Padova, Italy) for analysis and, in agreement with the farmer, were used for the further investigations and analysis on <i>Mycoplasma synoviae</i>, which are reported in the present research paper.
