Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Permission for the study and ethical approval were obtained from the required authorities in Cameroon [Ministry of Livestock, Fisheries and Animal Industries (MINEPIA), School of Veterinary Medicine and Sciences of the University of Ngaoundere] before carrying out the study. The purpose of the study was explained by telephone to veterinarians installed in the public and private sector obtained from the sub-department of pharmacy and private sector of the MINEPIA. When verbal informed consent was obtained, the stakeholder including wholesalers-importers-distributors of veterinary medicines, veterinarians in public and private sectors and representative agents of veterinary pharmaceutical companies was sent the questionnaire. Completing and returning the questionnaire further implied consent to participate in the study.
