: Verbal consent was taken from animal’s owners. Samples were taken from slaughtered animals for meat production in an abattoir in study regions. All experimental protocols were approved by the Research Institute for Gastroenterology and Liver Diseases and all procedures performed in this study were approved by the ethical standards (IR.SBMU.RIGLD.REC.1396.164) released by Ethical Review Committee of the Research Institute for Gastroenterology and Liver Diseases, Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran.
