: The mice were monitored daily for disease manifestation. Mice with severe sickness were euthanized humanely, in accordance with the guidelines provided by the institutional ethical committee and protocols approved by the Animal Care and Use Committee of the Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. All experiments were approved by the local ethical committee for animal research (approval number: 2017072001). All animals were housed in an animal facility at 22 °C, with a relative humidity of 55%, in a 12 h light/12 h dark cycle, with sterile tap water and food available ad libitum.
