: The study was conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki on Good Clinical Practice and received ethical clearance from the National Institute for Medical Research (NIMR/HQ/R.8a/Vol.IX/2477) and Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences, Tanzania, (MU/DRP/ERP/Vol.IX/174) and the Regional Ethical Review Board, Stockholm, Sweden. Written informed consent and ascent was provided by all study participants, in case of children under 7 years, a proxy consent from a parent/legal guardian was obtained.
